Koksownia Przyjaźń is the newest and most modern coking plant in Poland. It was opened in 1987. It undertakes the activities aiming at implementation of the newest achievements of coke production technology, environmental protection and safety at work. The coking plant produces high quality dry-cooled coke with high mechanical endurance, minimal content of water and chemical pollution. There is a lot of emphasis on coke quality control. The whole technological process is covered by complex supervision for which the Koksownia Przyjaźń received in 1996 BVQI certificate for the compliance of its system with ISO 9002 standard.
